Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 8, 2026. Please read our client agreement and platform terms of usage.

1. Project Engagement & Scope

All services provided by StoresForge, including theme development, app development, SEO auditing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) retainers, will be executed in accordance with agreed specifications outlined in corresponding project invoices or client retainer proposals.

2. Intellectual Property (IP) Ownership

Upon final settlement of invoices for any specific scope of work, all custom code, theme edits, asset designs, and custom application elements developed by StoresForge shall become 100% the property of the client. StoresForge retains the right to utilize generic code blocks, libraries, and open-source packages in future client engagements.

3. Retainers & Support Hours

Retainer packages (Starter, Growth, Scale) run on a month-to-month basis. Client tasks are queued and executed using the active monthly allocation. Unused hours do not roll over to subsequent months. Either party may cancel the retainer service with a fifteen (15) day notice prior to the next scheduled monthly billing date.

4. Client Co-operation

To guarantee speed-optimizations and application stability, clients must provide necessary administrative privileges, API keys, and collaborator codes to StoresForge. StoresForge is not liable for delayed deliveries caused by withheld or restricted developer portal permissions.

5. Limitation of Liability

While StoresForge exercises extreme caution, we do not warrant that Shopify storefronts will be 100% free of bugs or service interruptions caused by third-party application crashes, Shopify core platform outages, or client-side code alterations. StoresForge is not liable for indirect losses or revenue shortfalls resulting from codebase modifications.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
